Who Is Blee?
This is Blee, this is his Life, this is his addiction, this is his legacy….
Growing up on the paradise Caribbean island of Montserrat, Blee started off his life instilled with values and structure. Tragedy struck his idyllic surroundings In July 1995 when the now infamous and tragic volcano erupted on the island destroying more than half the region including his childhood home. Uprooted, he moved to Canada to start a new life, he later made a move to the UK where he finally settled in London.
A producer, writer and performer, Blee is the answer to today's lost generation of those both young and old on a quest to find themselves amongst the chaos of a traditionalist uninspired society. They say it takes just one person to make a change, shake things up and set the pace and we say that Blee has come along at just the right time!
Blee has now been writing and producing music for over 10 years now and in 2007 he decided to take total control and set up his own independent record label/publishing company Cross Seas Entertainment Ltd; Specialising in music from Caribbean artists. With intentions to both cultivate new artists and create a new generation of trendsetters, he also feels it is important to hold on to what's yours in order to stay true and fill that ever growing gap in the market.
To date he has released several album projects under his Cross Seas label as well as working with artists and producers from every corner of the globe. In addition to airplay on radio stations globally, Blee has enjoyed the success of having one of his songs featured on an episode prime time American television programme 'Lincoln Heights'
His presence is deceptive; his calm demeanour does not prepare you for the level of intelligence and special power to inspire fascination. With a style that seems like a cross between Damien Marley and Kanye West, he brings an unforgettable message carried on the wave of powerful hooks that cannot be denied.
Blee has done collaborations with artist and producers from many different genres and backgrounds. Currently, the single 'Serenade', the result of his work with Dance producer Classymenace, is making major moves across the Dance circuit
